Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to consistently grow company revenue.
- Research market trends and competitors, turning insights into deals and strategic actions.
- Build a structured sales pipeline and use CRM/analytics to improve conversion rates.
- Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and sales materials for high-value prospects.
- Lead client communications, gather feedback, and drive repeat business and referrals.
- Negotiate pricing, scope, and timelines in collaboration with the Creative Director to protect company interests.
- Coordinate with Finance on invoices and receivables, and provide weekly/monthly reports on leads, conversions, revenue, and pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Creative/Media teams on growth strategies, digital campaigns, and brand positioning.
- Develop and update business plans and sales strategies to support long-term growth goals.
- Build partnerships with architects, developers, real estate firms, and other stakeholders to expand reach. Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums to win visibility and clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in Business Development (experience in Interior Design / Real Estate / Architecture is an added advantage).
- Strong network and ability to build high-value relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Track record of winning new business and growing accounts.
- Data-driven mindset with analytical skills.
- Ability to create and implement business plans and strategies.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision. Good knowledge of the Lagos business environment and ability to identify growth opportunities.
