Role Summary
We are looking for a versatile and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team. This person will lead the company’s external communications, manage and execute strategic marketing initiatives, coordinate key projects with internal and external stakeholders, and support proposal development for donor-funded and private sector opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator, highly organized, digitally savvy, and capable of wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Develop and execute marketing strategies across digital and offline platforms to elevate brand visibility.
- Create and manage engaging content for social media, newsletters, websites, and press releases.
- Maintain Voriancorelli’s brand consistency across internal and external communications.
- Build and manage media relations and PR opportunities to amplify company impact.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and brand engagement metrics.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Serve as a liaison between field teams, tech developers, partners, and senior leadership.
- Track project progress, compile updates, and prepare internal and external reports.
- Support onboarding and training of project teams as needed.
Proposal & Grant Development
- Lead or support the development of funding proposals, expressions of interest (EOIs), and pitch decks.
- Conduct background research, draft compelling narratives, and compile documentation for submissions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to align proposals with project goals and donor priorities.
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with key partners, donors, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in meetings, calls, and events with external partners.
- Maintain regular communication with collaborators and ensure alignment on shared project goals.
- Track stakeholder engagement and support follow-up actions to deepen partnerships.
Strategic & Administrative Support
- Prepare talking points, presentations, and communications for leadership.
- Maintain an organized system for documentation, records, and project assets.
- Support the coordination of events, workshops, and partner engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, project coordination, or proposal development.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with international development, agriculture, or tech-for-development is a plus.
- Proficiency with digital tools like Canva, Google Workspace, Social Media Platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X), and Mailchimp.
- Ability wwto multitask, take initiative, and work independently and collaboratively.
