We are now expanding our Lagos team and are on the lookout for a high-performing Business Development & Client Success Manager to join our growing business.

The Role

In this strategic dual-function role, you will be responsible for both driving new business acquisition and managing key client accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty. You’ll be at the forefront of positioning Rage Media Group as a premium agency partner in Lagos, leading pitches, closing deals, and ensuring seamless service delivery across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

1.Lead the agency’s business development efforts by building a strong client pipeline

2.Create compelling pitch decks and proposals with the internal team

3.Act as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring excellent service and delivery

4.Translate client briefs into actionable strategies and guide internal alignment

5.Represent the agency at networking events, industry gatherings, and conferences

6.Build and nurture relationships with client decision-makers

7.Handle client escalations and ensure satisfaction across every touchpoint

8.Monitor campaign performance and provide strategic insights

9.Identify and unlock new business opportunities across sectors

What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

Experience: 4–6 years in advertising, marketing, or media sales (preferably in a client-facing role)

Skills & Competencies you should have:

1. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

2. Commercially savvy and strategic thinker

3. Deep relationship management skills

4. Proficiency in pitch and proposal development

5. Solid knowledge of the Nigerian advertising/media landscape

6. Highly organized with a strong drive to meet targets

Preferred Industry Background: Advertising, Media, Marketing, or Communications.
