We are seeking a proactive Business Development Assistant to support our sales team in growing our premium human hair distribution business. In this role, you will accompany our Business Development Representative (BDR) to client meetings, ensure our CRM and Google Sheets are always up to date, and help maintain smooth sales operations. This position is perfect for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and eager to learn the ropes of business development in a fast-moving B2B environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Client Meeting Support:
- Accompany the BDR to client meetings in the Enugu region.
- Take clear, detailed notes during meetings and promptly update CRM records. Assist with preparing presentations, product samples, and documentation before meetings.
CRM & Data Management:
- Keep the CRM system accurate and up to date with client information, meeting notes, and follow-up tasks.
- Maintain and update various Google Sheets used for tracking sales activity, pipeline status, and market data. Generate simple reports from CRM and spreadsheets for management review.
Market Research & Coordination:
- Research new leads and retail opportunities in the local human hair market.
- Monitor competitor activities and share insights with the team. Help identify potential growth areas and customer segments.
Communication & Follow-up:
- Assist with follow-up communications to clients via WhatsApp, phone, and email. Ensure all customer questions and requests are logged and passed to the right team member.
Requirements:
- Smartphone with WhatsApp and a laptop (required).
- Strong organisational and note-taking skills.
- Basic proficiency with Google Sheets; willing to learn CRM software.
- Good communication skills in English and Igbo.
- Professional appearance and punctuality for client visits. Interest in sales, business development, or the beauty/hair industry is a plus.
