Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting great drinks, delivering excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming bar atmosphere. You'll be responsible for preparing beverages, managing bar inventory, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take drink orders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Keep track of inventory and notify manager of restocking needs.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
- Engage with customers to create a fun and positive atmosphere.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations.
- Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
- Manage tabs and balance the cash register at the end of shifts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Preferred:
- Bartending certification or mixology training.
- Knowledge of local and classic cocktails, wine, and craft beers.
- Customer service or hospitality background.
