Currently looking for an Automation Project Manager in Dole, France , who will lead and coordinate projects to develop automation solutions — from gathering requirements to commissioning — supporting new product development and process improvements to boost efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
About The Job
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and working groups.
- Define project objectives, action plans, and schedules; ensure alignment with resources and priorities.
- Propose, justify, and implement technical solutions; manage risks and quality impacts.
- Report progress clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop specifications, technical documents, and cost estimates for automation equipment.
- Drive new concepts for lines and processes; identify and apply best practices.
- Oversee project phases, validation, and results.
- Provide technical support to production and quality teams; train colleagues in automation know-how.
- Stay up to date with new technologies and support the testing and qualification of new solutions.
- Suggest and implement improvements for existing equipment and processes. Represent the department in internal and external meetings and manage external suppliers (specifications, negotiations, follow-up).

About You
- Degree in Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven track record in managing automation projects.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools and measurement/simulation techniques.
- Proficient in office software and good English skills.
- Knowledge of company organization, products, manufacturing processes, and equipment.
- Familiar with cross-functional management and quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive, autonomous, and able to manage stress and priorities. Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
