Position: Assistant Transport Manager

Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily transport operations, ensuring the effective management and utilization of the fleet.
- Manage fleet maintenance schedules to ensure trucks are in excellent condition and meet safety standards.
- Supervise drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and delivery timelines.
- Plan and coordinate the dispatch and routing of trucks to guarantee timely delivery of goods to clients.
- Maintain detailed records of fleet operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and expenses.
- Develop strategies to optimize fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall service delivery.
- Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for fleet and transport operations. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers for repairs, insurance, and maintenance.

Requirements:
- 4-7 yearsof experience in fleet management, preferably within the trucking logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in fleet management tools and software is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
