- Support the Chief Security Officer in implementing and enforcing security policies across plantations, processing facilities, and residential camps.
- Assist in coordinating daily security patrols to protect company assets, including fresh fruit bunches (FFB), equipment, stores, and sensitive areas.
- Monitor access control points and ensure proper identification and documentation of visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering the premises.
- Report incidents such as theft, trespassing, vandalism, or internal misconduct promptly to the CSO and document them accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date logs of security activities, incident reports, and security personnel attendance across all locations.
- Assist in managing the deployment and performance of internal security guards and outsourced security personnel.
- Participate in periodic risk assessments and threat analysis of plantation sites and facilities.
- Work with local law enforcement, community leaders, and regulatory authorities to promote a secure operating environment and resolve conflicts.
- Support training and sensitization programs on security awareness, emergency response, and reporting protocols for workers.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, alarms, and perimeter systems and report malfunctions for immediate resolution. Respond to emergency situations such as fire outbreaks, civil unrest.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND holder in Criminology, Security Studies, Public Administration, or and related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT or transformation-related roles, preferably in agriculture, plantations, or manufacturing.
- Proven track record in leading digital transformation and security implementation projects.
- Experience in developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures.
Professional Certificate:
- Certified Security Guard (CS)
- Certified Basic First Aid and CPR (Red Cross or equivalent)
