Position: Admin/HR Assistant

Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja

Salary: 150k (gross)

We are urgently recruiting for our client, a leading company in the fashion industry (sales of fabrics).

Overview:

The Admin/HR Assistant supports day-to-day administrative tasks and assist in HR functions, ensuring smooth internal operations. This role is vital to keeping records, coordinating staff matters, handling documentation, and supporting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain and update employee records, files, and attendance.

· Assist in recruitment processes such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new staff.

. Assist in coordinating employee onboarding, including conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all new employees have the necessary information and resources.

· Support preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and HR documents.

· Track staff attendance, punctuality, and leave records.

· Coordinate internal communications and disseminate memos or notices.

· Provide general administrative support to the company, including managing office supplies, coordinating meeting and travel arrangements, and handling correspondence.

· Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed.

· Support payroll preparation by providing attendance and HR data.

· Act as liaison between staff and management for HR-related concerns.

· Organize and maintain filing systems (physical and digital).

· Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Operations or management.

Requirements:

OND/HND/B.Sc. in Business Admin, HR, or related field.

1–2 years’ experience in admin or HR support roles (preferred but not mandatory).

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Basic knowledge of HR practices and Nigerian labor standards is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and organized.

Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
