Job Summary:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and skilled accountant with ICAN certification or pursuing ICAN certification. The successful candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with ICAN standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and financial stability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- ICAN certification or currently pursuing ICAN certification (ACA or ATSWA)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and ICAN standards - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in financial software and systems Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
