We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant/Admin to join our team. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure timely settlements of obligations.
- Oversee payroll processing and maintain accurate staff-related financial records.
- Support recruitment processes, including coordination of interviews and onboarding documentation.
- Maintain employee records, leave schedules, and performance-related documentation in line with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory remittances (PAYE, pensions, tax filings, etc.).
- Develop and implement efficient office systems to improve workflow and productivity.
- Serve as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional communication and follow-up.
- Provide general administrative support to management to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Manage daily office activities, communications, and scheduling.
- Maintain an orderly and professional environment, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
- Handle procurement coordination and oversee inventory of office and project materials.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, internal events, and team planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in a combined accounting and administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and payroll systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A calm, solution-oriented mindset with a high level of maturity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently with integrity and sound judgment.
