About the Role:
We're looking for a professional Full Stack Mobile App Developer who can handle both frontend and backend development, and is skilled at integrating third-party APIs. This is a hands-on role for a self-starter who can architect and build a fintech product from scratch.
You’ll be responsible for developing a secure, scalable, and responsive mobile app, integrating critical APIs for crypto services, payments, virtual cards, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain the Nownaw mobile app (Android & iOS)
Build and maintain the backend services for user management, transactions, and wallet operations
Integrate third-party APIs, including:
Crypto exchange APIs
Payment gateways (Flutterwave, Paystack)
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
Implement user authentication, wallet tracking, and KYC if required
Ensure end-to-end data flow between frontend and backend
Maintain strong security protocols and ensure data protection
Handle cloud deployment and database management (Firebase, MongoDB, etc.)
Collaborate with the founding team on new features and system architecture
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of full stack mobile development experience
Proficiency in Flutter or React Native
Backend expertise in Node.js, Firebase, or Laravel
Demonstrated ability to integrate complex APIs into mobile apps
Experience with cryptocurrency/blockchain systems or fintech APIs
Solid knowledge of database design (SQL/NoSQL)
Experience deploying apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
Version control using Git
Strong UI/UX design sense and attention to performance
Bonus Skills:
Experience building admin dashboards or internal tools
Previous work in crypto, Web3, or fintech products
Knowledge of KYC flows, transaction monitoring, and compliance
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud functions
