Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Trade Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This role is key to driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, executing trade marketing strategies, and ensuring optimal product distribution in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and efficient distribution activities within the assigned area.
- Manage customer orders and ensure achievement of sales volume and value targets.
- Implement, execute, and evaluate trade promotional strategies.
- Track, monitor, and analyse sales trends across products, channels, and customers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of customers against set targets.
- Recommend strategies to enhance sales performance and customer success.
- Address customer complaints promptly and ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide timely market intelligence reports.
- Communicate customer feedback on products and services to internal teams.
- Coordinate and supervise brand activations and trade marketing initiatives.
- Ensure proper utilization of company assets in assigned territories.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar sales role within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record in sales and distribution.
- Strong marketing acumen and understanding of trade dynamics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
- High level of integrity and cultural adaptability.
