Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain mechanical systems of generators (diesel and hybrid).
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs on engines, alternators, and associated systems.
- Conduct periodic preventive maintenance on generators, engines, and mechanical tools.
- Ensure all mechanical components are in optimal working condition by using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies during operations.
- Complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance documentation accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the electrical team and other technicians on project installations and maintenance tasks.
- Recommend improvements or parts replacement to ensure reliable performance.
- Keep tools and workspaces clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Support in field service visits and emergency breakdowns when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of OND / Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years proven experience as a mechanical technician, preferably in the power generation or engineering industry.
- Good knowledge of diesel generator maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with mechanical diagnostic tools and repair procedures.
