About the Role
SolarCentric Technologies is hiring a Technical Lead to support the execution of commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects. The role is critical to ensuring high-quality data gathering, accurate documentation of electrical systems, and hands-on coordination during energy audits. You will lead field activities across client sites, working with project teams to establish a clear understanding of on-site electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site assessments of commercial/industrial buildings, focusing on electrical layout, load distribution, and system components.
- Lead verification and redrawing of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) by tracing panels, circuits, and sub-systems.
- Supervise deployment of power metering tools (clamp meters, submeters, data loggers) across designated locations.
- Document and validate electrical and HVAC load configurations, UPS systems, lift setups, and control panels.
- Interface with facility and maintenance staff to reconcile layout plans with physical installations.
- Ensure complete field documentation and handoff to the technical audit team for deeper analysis and reporting. Provide technical support during tool installation, repositioning, and equipment identification.

Qualifications
- Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or commercial power systems, installations, or building services.
- Strong understanding of: LV and MV electrical systems, Transformer-to-panel distribution, UPS systems and HVAC wiring, ATS and generator interface.
- Ability to read, interpret, and sketch SLDs. Field experience with energy measurement tools preferred.
