About the Role
This is a high-leverage role working directly with the CEO to drive growth by enabling focus on securing new brand partners in the modern retail sector (supermarkets, pharmacies, formal retail). It’s not a traditional assistant role—it’s a dynamic position requiring ownership of lead generation, sales support, recruitment, and special projects in a high-expectation, low-micromanagement environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Contact and qualify 25+ potential brand partners daily using lead databases and new outreach methods; track interactions and pipeline progress; meet weekly conversion targets.
- Sales Activity Review & Reporting: Monitor sales team activities, identify performance gaps and wins, and prepare concise daily reports with actionable insights.
- Platform & Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate product and client data (e.g., images, SKUs, retail information); resolve inconsistencies promptly.
- Talent Pipeline Support: Screen and shortlist candidates for key roles, present structured evaluations to the CEO, and manage recruitment processes.
- Special Projects & Execution Support: Handle high-priority tasks assigned by the CEO, coordinating with sales, operations, and finance to ensure alignment.
Qualifications
- 4-7 years in executive assistant or high-level administrative roles, ideally in startups or retail-focused companies.
- Proven experience in lead generation, sales pipeline management, or recruitment coordination.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving.
- Comfortable with direct feedback, high expectations, and a results-driven culture.
Ideal Candidate
- Smart & Self-Driven: Curious, learns quickly, and works independently.
- Results-Oriented: Focused on delivering value, not just effort.
- Confident & Humble: Advocates for ideas, takes feedback well, and owns mistakes.
- Organized & Analytical: Manages multiple tasks and uses data to drive decisions.
- Creatively Resilient: Thrives under pressure and views challenges as opportunities.
