Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Team Lead - Telesales role located in Ikeja at Henriken Consulting HR. The Team Lead will be responsible for managing the telesales team, leading sales efforts, communicating with customers, and ensuring excellent customer service on a day-to-day basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of telesales agents to consistently achieve and exceed KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Monitor daily performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct coaching sessions to improve team effectiveness.
  • Develop sales scripts, objection handling techniques, and closing strategies to increase conversion rates.
  • Track team metrics and prepare reports on sales performance, call quality, and agent productivity.
  • Implement and oversee training programs to improve product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align on lead generation, campaigns, and promotional offers.
  • Handle escalated calls or customer complaints to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously review processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales leadership role (minimum 5-7 years).
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
  • Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Team Management and Team Leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience in a financial institution is a plus
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and passion for sales.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
