Job Summary:
Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a competent and experienced Store In-Charge to manage the chemical and spare parts store. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in inventory management within a manufacturing or mechanical environment and demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the chemical and spare parts store.
- Ensure proper inventory control, documentation, and stock accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams for timely material availability.
- Maintain safe storage practices for chemicals and mechanical components.
- Monitor stock levels, prepare stock reports, and flag reordering needs.
- Generate reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel (e.g., stock movement, consumption trends).
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or mechanical industry.
- Strong understanding of spare parts and chemical inventory handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead store operations efficiently.
- A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field is an added advantage.
