Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and strategic State Manager to lead all operational, sales, and performance-related activities within our fintech ecosystem. This role combines leadership, execution, and relationship management to ensure consistent growth, high service standards, and full compliance with organizational policies across all outlets and teams in the region. Industry knowledge of consumer gadget financing is essential.
Key Responsibilities
State-Level Strategy & Execution
- Drive the implementation of sales strategies specific to consumer gadget financing.
- Develop and execute local market expansion plans to grow our fintech footprint. Monitor competitive landscape and local market dynamics relevant to gadget financing.
Branch Oversight & Field Operations
- Provide leadership and direction to all branch teams, ensuring alignment with fintech operational models.
- Conduct routine operational reviews and store visitations, including partner gadget retail outlets. Ensure alignment with operational standards, processes, and customer experience goals specific to financing services.
People Leadership & Performance Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor branch and field personnel with a focus on fintech service delivery.
- Set and monitor KPIs to drive accountability, sales growth, and recovery performance. Foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement across fintech and partner environments.
Risk, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, documentation standards, and risk protocols within the gadget financing space.
- Oversee the resolution of escalated client issues and operational risks related to loans or repayments. Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly reports on activities, trends, and state performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in multi-branch management, retail finance , or field operations—preferably within a fintech or consumer finance environment.
- Experience in team leadership and driving sales or recovery performance in financial services.
- Strong familiarity with the assigned region and local market dynamics.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Experience or a strong understanding of gadget financing models is highly preferred.
