Job Summary:
The Social Media Sales Intern supports Tuteria’s growth by converting social media leads into paying customers, nurturing prospective clients via WhatsApp, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, as well as other official social media platforms, and ensuring a professional and timely experience.
The intern will also assist with basic follow-up tasks, generate leads from engagement posts, and provide insights for improving customer engagement. This role is ideal for a smart, sales-driven individual looking to build experience in digital sales, education, and social commerce.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage and respond to all incoming messages, comments, and DMs on Tuteria’s social platforms promptly.
- Convert leads by sharing Tuteria’s info, resolving inquiries, and persuading leads to register and pay.
- Follow up consistently with warm leads via WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and other social media platforms.
- Track all conversations, inquiries, and outcomes on CRM and sales tracking sheets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to understand current promotions, offerings and adjust messaging.
- Contribute ideas for social content that drives engagement and leads generation. Provide reports on conversion, lead engagement, and feedback.
Job Qualifications:
- B.Sc/HND with a flair for digital communication and sales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and tone.
- Active user of Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or social media management is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and able to learn tools like Google Sheets, Zoho, or CRM software quickly. Friendly, persuasive, fast-paced, and reliable with a strong sense of ownership.
