Job Description/Requirements
We are hiring a full time Site Operations Manager to lead the supervision of site activities on a broad array of interior design projects and initiatives. Studio Emodi typically takes on multiple projects at once. The Site Operations Manager will be required to oversee projects to which they are assigned, ensuring they are completed on time and without incidence. He/ she will ultimately be responsible for supervising project sites and running the execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met.
- Review progress and liaise with quantity surveyors, in-house procurement personnel, and vendors to monitor costs.
- Enforce health and safety precautions on active sites.
- Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
- Ensure projects meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors, procurement personnel, and the COO.
- Evaluate risk, provide technical advice and solve problems on site.
- Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to determine project feasibility.
- Allocate and manage resources (equipment, manpower, and materials) to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the project.
- Monitor production processes by carrying out regular inspections on ongoing production at vendors’ factories to determine whether they meet established quality standards.
- Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and procuring high-quality and cost-efficient materials for production.
- Develop a work plan, schedule, and logistics required, based on the overall project parameters and scope.
- Check installation/design plans to ensure the functionality of the product.
- Monitor site operations and send in weekly production status reports.
- Communicate and update the internal teams on progress, approvals, and production delivery status.
- Review and follow up on maintenance or replacement in the case of damages to products when required. Develop and strengthen working relationships with vendor partners.

Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of BSc, HND, or equivalent in Architecture, Building Technology, Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 3 years of relevant experience in the industry. Experience in interior fit-outs and renovations is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plan execution works based on this.
- Be conversant with and have a good knowledge of site safety measures.
- Be versatile in the use of MS Office Suite and Google Suite (Google Workspace tools).
- Be familiar with construction site activities and must have a keen eye for detail.
- Possess good leadership skills with the ability to lead and direct site teams.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills. Be a self-starter.
