Job Overview
As the Operations Manager at Spade, you will oversee the day-to-day operational efficiency of our betting platform and customer processes. You will ensure seamless user experience across deposits, withdrawals, bet settlements, customer support coordination, and risk monitoring. This is a foundational role with strong ownership and impact on how we scale and succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Operations
- Oversee the full lifecycle of bets—from placement to settlement.
- Monitor real-time system performance, bet flow, and transaction logs. Coordinate with product and tech teams to flag bugs or inefficiencies.
Customer Experience
- Ensure customer issues are resolved promptly in collaboration with support agents.
- Create SOPs for resolving high-priority or technical complaints. Supervise and optimize KYC/AML compliance workflows.
Payments & Risk
- Oversee payment processing—ensuring fast deposits, secure withdrawals, and fraud monitoring.
- Liaise with payment gateway providers to resolve escalated transaction issues. Support the Risk & Trading team in monitoring high-risk activity or bonus abuse.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., odds providers, KYC tools, CRM platforms). Track service-level agreements and performance metrics.
Reporting & Optimization
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on key operations KPIs.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose operational improvements to leadership. Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams for alignment.

Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in operations within sports betting, fintech, or gaming.
- Deep understanding of customer onboarding, payments, and transaction workflows.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with tools like CRM systems, KYC platforms, or ticketing systems. Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership.
