Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to manage and oversee on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering and technical aspects of construction projects are carried out accurately, efficiently, and according to specifications and safety standards.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day site operations.
  • Ensure project work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals on site.
  • Manage site documentation including reports, materials usage, labor records, and progress updates.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to technical workers and clients.
  • Ensure all materials used and work performed comply with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and coordinate problem-solving efforts on-site.
  • Conduct site inspections and safety audits to enforce compliance.
  • Manage project timelines, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Liaise with local authorities for permits, inspections, and approvals when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience of 4-5 years as a site engineer or similar role in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or Revit.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and make decisions under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Valid professional certification or license is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of green building standards or sustainability practices.
  • Familiarity with modern construction technologies and equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with surveying and measurement tools.
