Salary: ₦1,000,000 – ₦1,200,000 per month
Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Wealth Manager to lead high-value client engagements and drive portfolio growth within our investment advisory team in Abuja. This senior-level role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with deep expertise in wealth management, financial planning, and capital markets. You will be responsible for acquiring and managing a robust portfolio of high-net-worth and institutional clients, delivering tailored investment solutions, and providing expert financial guidance that aligns with clients’ evolving goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client acquisition efforts and achieve high-value Asset Under Management (AUM) targets
- Manage and grow a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients
- Deliver advanced, personalized investment and financial advisory services
- Develop comprehensive wealth strategies, including asset allocation, estate planning, and risk management
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify investment opportunities and manage portfolio risks
- Design, recommend, and implement sophisticated investment solutions aligned with client objectives
- Monitor economic trends and proactively advise clients with insights and strategic adjustments
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements and internal governance standards
- Prepare and present detailed financial proposals and quarterly portfolio reviews
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients through consistent, high-touch service
- Organize client briefings, educational forums, and exclusive events to deepen engagement
- Utilize CRM platforms and digital tools to streamline client management and reporting
- Represent the firm with professionalism at high-level external meetings and industry events
- Mentor junior wealth advisors and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing
- Perform other leadership responsibilities as assigned by executive management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CWM, ICAN, or an MBA are highly preferred
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or private banking
- Demonstrated success in managing large investment portfolios and complex financial planning needs
- Deep understanding of capital markets, portfolio construction, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning tools
