Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to join our IP Backbone team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience securing large-scale ISP/telecom networks and expertise in next-gen firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Sophos XGS), VPN, SD-WAN, CGNAT, and L3 protocols (OSPF, BGP).

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage advanced network security solutions for ISP/telecom infrastructure
- Configure and maintain next-gen firewalls including Cisco Firepower and Sophos XGS
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VPNs, SD-WAN environments, and CGNAT systems
- Manage L3 protocols such as OSPF and BGP to ensure secure and efficient network routing
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, implementing containment and remediation procedures
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with network engineers, systems administrators, and other internal stakeholders to enhance the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture Stay current on emerging threats and technologies, and recommend improvements accordingly
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with NGFWs, VPN, SD-WAN, CGNAT
- Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, route-maps, VRF
- Proficiency with IDS/IPS, SIEM, DDoS mitigation
- Relevant certifications (CCNP Security, Sophos, etc.)
- Experience with Python/Ansible is a plus
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Lagos.
