Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company's footprint in both the IT and banking sectors.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and direct client engagements.
- Leverage existing networks within the banking sector to introduce our IT solutions and value-added services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored IT solutions that meet client-specific requirements.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, contracts, and service offerings to prospective clients.
- Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and competitive developments within the banking and IT industries.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management. Oversee and mentor junior business development staff to align with company growth objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or professional certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development, with a blend of experience in the banking sector and IT services.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and successfully closing large-scale deals.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, including communications, integration, cloud services, and managed services.
- Extensive network within the banking industry, with a demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision. Must reside in Port Harcourt, with a willingness to travel as needed.
