Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Lagos for a Senior Advertising Sales Manager at a Media & Broadcasting Industry. The Senior Advertising Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and managing relationships with media clients. Their day-to-day tasks include identifying sales opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves collaborating with marketing teams to align sales efforts with broader company objectives.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in advertising sales, with at least 3 years in a Leadership role within Nigeria's Media/ Publishing/Digital Landscape (FTA/PAY TV/ADs Agents)
- Deep understanding of Nigeria's advertising ecosystem, including key players, media buying practices, and regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in digital advertising (programmatic, social, video) and traditional media (TV, Print, Radio)
- Established relationship with top advertisers, agencies and brands in Nigeria (e. g Unilever, MTN, TGI, banking sector).
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills
- Marketing knowledge and skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth Bachelor's degree in Media, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
