Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Security Coordinator, located in Kaduna. The Security Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of the company's premises. Daily tasks include managing security staff, implementing and monitoring security policies, handling incident responses, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Security Coordinator will ensure that the company sites, clients, personnel, equipment and fixed assets are protected. The role demands vigilance, regular coordination with other departments, and prompt reporting of any security breaches or concerns.
Qualifications
- Experience in overseeing security operations and managing security personnel.
- Retired Membership of the Armed Forces/Police is an added advantage.
- The Institute of Industrial Security and Safety of Nigeria (IISSN) certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor security policies and procedures.
- Strong incident response and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Kaduna. An HND/bachelor's degree in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
