Job Description:
The suitable candidate will be mainly responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, following designated routes and schedules. The role requires a high level of attention to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safe Transportation: Safely operate a school bus, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
2. Route Management: Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of students.
3. Student Supervision: Maintain order and discipline on the bus, ensuring student safety and well-being.
4. Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
5. Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation issues or concerns.
6. Safety Protocols: Follow emergency procedures and protocols in case of accidents or incidents.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with school bus endorsement
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
- Ability to manage and supervise students
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
