Our client an interior design company engaged in thesale of interior design items and turnkey projects is looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager who will be responsible for supervising, planning, implementing, and managing marketing and sales activities.
This role is also responsible for ensuring that the store is appropriately stocked as well as giving accurate information to customers on types of items, pricing, and after-sales service.
Job Description
- Develops, and implements an integrated range of marketing concepts and methodologies; plans and develops marketing and sales strategies consistent with the overall goals and objectives of the business.
- Provide market research and analysis; prepare research-based reports and sales forecasts for management.
- Sell interiors and design solutions to existing and new clients as well as working as a key account manager to build long-term relationships with strategic clients and partners to meet and exceed pre-agreed sales targets.
- Develop and manage annual sales and operating budgets, and regularly monitors performance to budget parameters.
- Generate leads and sales opportunities to meet the company’s business and growth plans and the sales targets and manage the communication with the clients.
- Assume responsibility for all publicity, advertising, direct mail, catalogs, exhibits, awards, author communications, title sub-right activities, and website management for the enterprise.
- Perform direct customer sales in key areas; promotes and maintains customer relations with major accounts nation-wide.
- Participate in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.
- Represent the enterprise at conferences, meetings, exhibits, and other special events; promotes new and existing programs and initiatives.
- Participate in other showroom functions including, but not limited to: training and mentoring others, weekly sales meetings, weekly reports, maintaining showroom appearance, tagging, wrapping and loading light furniture & accessories for clients, answering phones, greeting, catalog / price list upkeep, cleaning, and inventory.
Requirements and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven post qualification/certification experience in sales
- Experience in Real Estate or Interior Design sales is an advantage
- Experience in strategy development within Marketing & Sales for Properties & Real Estate Developments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong business acumen
- Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- The ability to work under pressure.
Salary: 300,000 + Commission
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦300,000.00 per month
