Job Title: Sales Executive – Equipment Division
Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)
Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 per month (plus commission)
Work Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), Some Saturdays as required
Job Summary:
We are seeking a goal-oriented and persuasive Sales Executive to drive sales and business opportunities in our equipment division. This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of equipment leasing and sales, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Equipment Manager to grow the business. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-driven, and capable of managing leads from prospect to close.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in equipment leasing, sales, and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate with the Equipment Manager to pitch equipment solutions tailored to client needs.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Client Relationship Management
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
- Follow up on leads, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent after-sales support.
- Maintain a database of client interactions, transactions, and feedback.
Market Research & Strategy
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new sales strategies.
- Provide input on pricing, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Assist in identifying high-demand equipment types and usage patterns to guide procurement.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Equipment Manager to understand inventory, availability, and delivery timelines.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
- Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to business planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial equipment, construction, or logistics.
- Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Excel, and reporting software.
- Self-motivated, confident, and capable of working under minimal supervision.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be available to work on-site and attend client meetings off-site when necessary.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
