SALES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER


Location: On-site (Ikeja)

Industry: Advertising / Marketing

Salary Range: NGN 200,000 – 300,000 monthly (+ juicy commission)

Experience: Must have relevant industry experience


About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and target-driven Sales Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing advertising agency. This role combines strategic sales planning, client relationship management, and the execution of innovative advertising campaigns.


Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through tailored marketing solutions. You will also oversee campaign delivery to ensure alignment with client goals and agency standards.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive agency growth and profitability.
Build, nurture, and manage long-term client relationships to ensure retention and upselling opportunities.
Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and marketing presentations aligned with client needs and agency capabilities.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and identify potential clients or industries.
Prepare business proposals and close high-value advertising and marketing deals.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.


Campaign Management

Translate client briefs into actionable campaign strategies and communicate clearly across internal teams.
Lead the execution of marketing campaigns in line with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Collaborate with creative, media, and production teams to ensure timely and high-quality campaign delivery.
Act as the primary liaison between the company and vendors, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met.
Monitor campaign performance using relevant metrics and provide regular performance reports to clients.
Coordinate invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing.


Requirements

Proven experience in a Sales, Business Development, or Campaign Management role within an advertising, media, or marketing agency.
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain strong client and vendor relationships.
Strong project and time management skills, with attention to detail and results orientation.
Understanding of advertising and marketing trends, including digital, ATL, and BTL campaigns.
