Job Objective/Summary :
- To lead KHL’s entire commercial growth agenda, imports and exports across all modes (sea FCL/LCL, air, bulk/project cargo, warehousing, domestic transport). The Head owns revenue strategy, sector penetration, global partnerships, and ensuresprofitable expansion in both inbound and outbound trade.
Core Responsibilities & Activities:
- Conduct daily outreach: 40–80 targeted actions/week (calls, digital campaigns, events).
- Generate qualified leads across all service modes (sea, air, bulk, warehousing, domestic transport).
- Convert leads into profitable contracts while maintaining GPdiscipline (≥20% blended margin).
- Manage active accounts through regular visits, follow-ups, and service feedback collection.
- Secure repeat business, upsells, and cross-sells in warehousing, transport, and customs clearance.
- Maintain ≥85% client retention with NPS ≥8/10.
- Drive campaigns to promote KHL’s logistics solutions across telecoms, infrastructure, FMCG, agro, and mineral sectors.
- Organise ad-hoc events, trade fairs, and promotional activities.
- Leverage digital platforms to enhance visibility and lead generation.
- Support BDEs and Heads of BD in building sector pipelines.
- Share market intelligence and contribute to joint proposals(domestic + international).
- Ensure seamless coordination with Operations and Finance for service execution.
- Maintain 100% CRM updates within 24 hours.
- Submit accurate weekly and monthly sales/marketing activity reports.
- Track forecast accuracy within ±10%.
Job Qualification Matrix (Education, Knowledge, Skills, e.t.c):
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in logistics/shipping.
- Demonstrated track record in meeting or exceeding monthly sales and profit targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Added advantage: CILT certification, digital marketing certification, or short courses in freight forwarding/customs.

- Support at least 1 campaign or event leading to direct pipeline activity.
