Commitment: 20 hours/week (with some overlap with PST)

About the Project
We're building LLM evaluation and training datasets focused on realistic software engineering problems. This includes creating verifiable SWE tasks using public repository histories through a synthetic, human-in-the-loop approach. The goal is to ensure broad coverage across languages, task types, and complexity levels.
Role Summary
We’re looking for experienced software engineers (Tech Lead level) with strong knowledge of Rust and public GitHub repositories (preferably with 5,000+ stars). This is a hands-on engineering role where you will help design tasks, evaluate repository quality, and collaborate closely with AI researchers to assess LLM performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Analyze and triage GitHub issues in trending open-source libraries
- Set up repos (Dockerization, local environments)
- Evaluate test coverage and quality
- Modify and run real-world codebases to test LLMs' bug-fixing capabilities
- Collaborate with researchers to identify challenging repo tasks
- (Optional) Lead junior engineers in collaborative projects
✅ Required Skills
- 5+ years of overall software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Rust
- Proficient in Git, Docker, and setting up dev environments
- Ability to navigate and test complex, real-world codebases Experience with high-quality GitHub repos (5,000+ stars preferred)

- Experience in LLM research or evaluation projects
- Familiarity with developer tools and automation agents Contributions to open-source projects
