District Legal Support Services provides legal support solutions for law firms across the U.S., with a specialty in process serving. We help attorneys, paralegals, and litigation teams meet service deadlines efficiently and professionally. As we continue to grow, we’re building a remote research team to support our outreach by identifying and profiling prospective client law firms.
Position Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to help identify potential law firm clients. In this role, you’ll research firms, verify their details, and submit qualified leads to our sales and support team. When a lead you submit results in a paying client, you are compensated for your contribution. This is an independent contractor position with flexible hours and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Research law firms in assigned geographic areas using web tools and directories
- Identify firm contact details, specialties, and decision-makers
- Record accurate data in spreadsheets and submit to our internal team
- Monitor lead status using our internal tracking system
- Collaborate with our team to improve research accuracy and targeting
Requirements
- Strong online research skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow structured formats
- Basic proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel
- Self-motivated and capable of independent work
- Fluent English communication
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with law firm research, lead generation, or paralegal work
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, state bar directories, or court databases
- Prior freelance or remote work experience
Compensation
This is a performance-based contracting role. You will be compensated when a law firm you research becomes a paying client. Each lead is tracked and attributed through internal tools.
There is no hourly wage or base salary. Compensation is paid per successful client conversion from your research. Onboarding includes clear expectations and payout details.
Typical compensation ranges from $50–$150 per closed client, depending on region and case type.
