We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial and cost-management functions across our construction and interior architecture projects. In addition to traditional QS responsibilities – such as estimation, budgeting, and contract administration – the ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities. This includes developing programmes of work, managing vendors, coordinating site and design teams, and overseeing the successful delivery of high-value developments across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract & Design:
• Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates, feasibility budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Advise design teams on cost-efficient detailing, buildability, and value engineering.
• Produce tender documentation and support bid evaluation processes.
• Programming & Planning:
• Develop and update comprehensive programmes of work, including critical paths, milestones, and cash flow forecasts.
• Align cost plans with project schedules, proactively identifying risks or variances.
• Procurement & Contracting:
• Issue RFQs, analyse bids, negotiate with vendors/subcontractors, and prepare contracts and purchase orders.
Administer contracts, variations, claims, and change orders with accurate documentation.

Core Competencies & Skills

• Strong foundation in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
• Proficiency in drawing and managing project programmes of work.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD or QS software.
• Skilled in contractor/vendor coordination and negotiation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong documentation habits.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven, with a high standard of integrity.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with real estate or developer-led projects (residential/mixed-use).
Exposure to BIM-based measurement tools or digital cost management platform.
