Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial design stage through to completion. This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and excellent communication to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for various project stages.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
- Assist in tender preparation, evaluation, and contract negotiations with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying and addressing potential overruns.
- Administer construction contracts, including valuing variations and processing payments to contractors and subcontractors.
- Prepare regular financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts.
- Provide expert advice on cost-effective solutions, value engineering, and risk management. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and contractual obligations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Trello
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Thorough understanding of local construction laws, contracts, and procurement processes.

Remuneration: NGN 120,000
