Job Position: Quality Assurance (QA) Lead

Position Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to oversee the quality control function across our production operations.
- This critical leadership role is responsible for maintaining our commitment to exceptional garment quality, driving continuous improvement, and coordinating the activities of the QA team to ensure all products meet or exceed our standards.
- The ideal candidate brings strong tailoring or fashion production expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to innovate and implement best practices in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the QA department to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee inspections of finished garments for defects, finishing quality, and accuracy.
- Ensure alignment of products with customer specifications and approved order details.
- Identify quality issues quickly and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Develop and implement robust standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance processes.
- Bring new ideas and innovative approaches to improve product quality and department effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with production, tailoring, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain seamless operational workflows.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality inspection records and generate regular reports for management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving within the QA team.
Requirements and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or garment production, with at least 2years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, tailoring techniques, and finishing.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate a team in a production environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality products.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to introduce new ideas and improve existing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Willingness and ability to work day and night shifts as required.
- Must reside in or near Ketu, Agboyi Estate, Lagos.
