DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Product Managerfor a Financial Company in Lagos, Nigeria.
The ideal candidate will lead the development, management, and optimization of financial products for the BDC (Bureau De Change) and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities include overseeing the full product lifecycle, ensuring CBN regulatory compliance, enhancing customer experience, and driving strategic growth through innovative, revenue-generating solutions.
Interested candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, other engineering, or an IT-related field with at least a minimum of 8-10 years of combined experience in product management and Agile environments.
Monthly net salary is between N1,170,000 - N1,350,000

Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Management
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and align product vision and roadmap with company goals and regulations.
- Market Research: Continuously analyze market trends and competitors for innovation opportunities.
- Customer Insights: Gather feedback to identify product improvements and pain points.
- Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to turn business needs into product features.
- Performance Monitoring: Track product performance and user feedback to enhance experience.
- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Create detailed user stories and criteria to guide development.
- Backlog Management: Lead grooming sessions and prioritize backlog based on value and complexity. Delivery Planning: Align team capacity with timelines for efficient delivery.
2. Agile Practices and Scrum Facilitation
- Agile Leadership: Act as the go-to person for Agile methodologies.
- Scrum Ceremonies: Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Backlog Prioritization: Ensure the backlog reflects current priorities. Team Support: Remove obstacles and promote team collaboration.
3. Team Collaboration and Delivery
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with developers, designers, and QA for timely, quality delivery.
- Feature Validation: Ensure all acceptance criteria are met before deployment.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote learning and process enhancements within teams.
- Reporting & Alignment: Share updates with senior management and align stakeholders. Business Initiatives: Partner with BDM to evaluate and deliver innovative solutions for growth and efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, other engineering, or an IT-related field.
- Certified Product Owner, Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
- Possess a minimum of 8-10 years of combined experience in product management and Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Proficiency in product management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience with customer-focused product development in a startup or fast-paced environment.
