We are seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to support our pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate must be mature, dependable, and a strong communicator who works well within a team. You will assist in dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring quality service to patients and staff.
Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to prepare, package, and distribute medications. You are expected to maintain professional relationships with colleagues, exhibit a friendly attitude, and uphold the standards of the pharmacy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications
- Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of medications
- Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and notify supervisor of shortages
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries professionally
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cordial and collaborative relationships with colleagues and healthcare staff
- Display maturity and responsibility in handling sensitive information and patient interactions
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, pharmacists, and team members
- Support pharmacy administrative tasks as needed
