Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Panel Beater to join our Workshop & Maintenance team. The role is responsible for repairing, restoring, and maintaining the bodywork of company trucks, trailers, and other vehicles to ensure they remain in excellent condition, both functionally and aesthetically. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding, body alignment, dent removal, and finishing techniques, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle body damage and recommend appropriate repair methods.
- Repair and replace damaged panels, frames, and other structural parts of trucks and trailers.
- Carry out dent removal, straightening, welding, and panel alignment.
- Fit replacement parts such as doors, bumpers, fenders, and chassis components.
- Ensure correct use of tools and materials to restore vehicles to safe and functional condition.
- Perform sanding, filling, priming, and surface preparation for painting.
- Maintain proper records of body repairs and parts replaced.
- Ensure all repair work meets company and industry safety standards.
- Collaborate with mechanics, painters, and other technicians in the workshop.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and take responsibility for workshop tools.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Technical diploma, vocational training, or equivalent qualification in Auto Body/Panel Beating.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a panel beater (experience with heavy-duty trucks and trailers preferred).
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body structures and repair techniques.
- Skilled in welding, cutting, dent pulling, and use of panel-beating tools.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow repair specifications.
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physically fit with the ability to handle heavy-duty tasks.
- Willingness to work outside normal hours when required.

Work Conditions

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
