MEP Project Manager/Coordinator

The following are key responsibilities for the job role:
An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager/Coordinator should be accountable for the seamless integration and coordination of all MEP systems during design and lead the design engineers to achieve quality and effective supervision during construction, ensuring that all MEP items are in seamless harmony with the building's structure and other professions.
1. Coordinate the MEP departments and ensure their design aligns with the overall project schedules without clashes.
2. Review MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and other technical submittals to ensure design compliance with the project specifications.
3. Quality control for all design deliverables, including drafting pen assignment, proper text height, using the right layers, ensuring the right title block and other details.
4. Maintain accurate records of MEP design schedules, design programme, and design calculations for every project.
The following are key requisite skills:
1. B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
2. COREN certification is mandatory.
3. Minimum 5 years of cognate experience
4. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as relevant building codes and regulations.
5. Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
6. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for coordinating with various engineers and external stakeholders.
7. The ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
8. Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for ensuring quality and compliance.
9. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM software, and other tools used in MEP coordination is an added advantage.
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
· COREN certification is mandatory.
· Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee projects.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦350,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
