Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Plan and coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and optimize delivery routes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team to ensure peak performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement logistics-related policies and procedures. Utilize logistics software to track and analyze goods movement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics management or operations.
- Proven ability to manage full supply chain and logistics operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities. Excellent knowledge of freight, sea, and air shipping procedures.
