Our client, a company in the logistics sector, is seeking to hire a Logistics Supervisor/Fleet Manager will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and effective coordination of logistics operations, fostering productivity and compliance across all levels. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with 1–3 years of experience as a logistics supervisor or fleet management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Port Managers to ensure seamless discharge of responsibilities and full compliance with operational standards.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Team to achieve targeted Turnaround Time (TAT) for truck repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure timely collation of container cards and forward them to the Business Development Department for further processing.
- Conduct follow-up calls with drivers to provide interventions or resolutions when necessary.
- Oversee daily logistics operations (work closely with the Logistics Admin), including Preparing Daily Operational Plans, Generating Mid-day Progress Reports and Compiling End-of-Day Reports.
- Liaise promptly with clients to gather weekly requirements, enabling proactive planning to meet their needs effectively.
- Provide early notification to the HR Department regarding expired truck documents and incidents, ensuring timely reporting to insurance where necessary.
- Verify and approve road costs before payment to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Develop and implement daily operation plans to maximize truck utilization, ensuring a minimum number of trips per week is consistently achieved.
- Manage and coordinate all activities of Port Officers and Drivers to ensure alignment with operational goals and standards.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Transport Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in logistics operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
- Proximity to Mile 2/Apapa.

Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 Net Monthly
