Role Summary
As a Logistics officer, you will gain hands-on experience in the logistics and truck leasing industry. You will support daily operations, coordinate with internal teams, assist with truck scheduling and documentation, and learn the end-to-end process of logistics management. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to build a career in logistics, supply chain, or transport management.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating the leasing and scheduling of trucks for clients.
Support in monitoring truck availability, allocation, and utilization.
Help prepare and maintain leasing agreements, trip records, and related documentation.
Track truck movements, deliveries, and returns to ensure timely operations.
Communicate with drivers and clients to provide updates and resolve minor issues.
Assist in maintaining records of truck servicing, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
Participate in inventory management of truck accessories (tires, spare parts, etc.).
Qualifications & Skills
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in logistics, transportation, and fleet management.
