Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and support a productive team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely, high-quality, and hygienic manner.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
- Train new kitchen staff and assist with scheduling shifts.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Culinary training or certification is a plus.
- Clean, organized, and disciplined.
- Physically fit to stand for long periods and work in a hot environment.
- Willing to work flexible shifts (weekends, evenings, holidays).
