Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Assistant to support kitchen operations in a hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will assist chefs with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, portioning, and plating.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including utensils, work surfaces, and storage areas.
- Receive and store deliveries properly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the head chef.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality kitchen is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
- Punctual and reliable.
