- We are looking for a client focused and results driven Key Account Officer to support our business development, marketing, and sales functions. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, working to maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities for business growth through upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion. Familiarity with consulting, marketing strategy, and business development practices is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and propose relevant solutions or services to meet those needs.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to uncover emerging client needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Lead and support the preparation of high-quality proposals, EOIs, concept notes, etc.
- Support proposal and bid submissions as needed.
- Track and report on account performance metrics and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through networking, referrals, inbound leads, and outbound efforts
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across accounts.
- Monitor client satisfaction and develop strategies to increase retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Track account performance and prepare regular reports on client engagement and revenue growth.
- Support the development of marketing and sales strategies to attract and retain clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5 – 7 years of proven experience in?account management, business development, or B2B sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance metrics.
- Proven ability to identify greenfield opportunities and close deals.
- Strong proposal writing and bid development experience is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation communication, and client engagement skills.
- Experience in a consulting, professional services, or solution-selling environment is a strong advantage.
