Position Overview
This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the overall administrative and clinical operational success of the sonography/radiography department.
The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the smooth functioning of the sonography/radiography department, conducting ultrasound scans, and coordinating with other clinical staff for best patient care
This position requires an ambitious and energetic person with mid level ultrasonography skills who desires to work in a start-up environment, and possess a strong desire to play a critical role in the success of the organization.
Essential Job Functions
Clinical Operations
- Responsible for conducting high-quality ultrasound scans using advanced imaging technology to provide accurate and detailed diagnostic results.
- Assist in conducting high-quality simple to complex radiography procedures when needed.
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their understanding of diagnoses and treatment options.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
General Operations and Administration
- Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
- Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, receiving and transferring phone calls, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.
- Involved in client registration, and communication of results.
- Handle billing process, including communicating bills and handling invoices.
- Assess patients and their clinical requirements to work out the best procedures to be performed.
- Provide support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs.
- Contributes to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers by following established standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Maintains patient’s confidence by keeping clinical information confidential.
- Serves and protects the firm by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and other pre-specified standards.
- Enhances ultrasound/radiography department services and reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Maintains records of consumables and ensures a proper inventory management.
Non- essential External Relations:
- Engage in direct sales activities, including but not limited to office visits, conference exhibitions, dinner meetings, etc.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors and other personnel
- Contribute to the reputation of the organization by entering and achieving professional awards.
- Maintaining a strong brand identity for the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor of science in Human Anatomy and Physiology, and related field
- Registration with Radiographers Registration Board Of Nigeria (R.R.B.N)
- Current practicing license
- Proven mid-level experience in conducting ultrasound scans.
- Be proactive, teachable and handle uncertainty.
- Leadership skills
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records
- Strong Communication skills and attention to details

- Patients range from healthy to critically ill. Ability to interact effectively and provide relevant support is critical.
- The candidate must be flexible, self-motivated, and results oriented, with the ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦130,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
