Job Summary
We are looking to hire a Japanese Car Mechanic or technician who specializes in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles manufactured by Japanese car brands such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, and Lexus.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Vehicle Diagnosis:
- Use diagnostic tools to identify issues in Japanese car systems (engine, transmission, brakes, etc.).
- Read fault codes using OBD scanners tailored for Japanese makes.
Routine Maintenance:
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid top-ups, brake pad replacements, and battery checks.
- Follow manufacturer-recommended service intervals for Japanese brands.
Repairs:
- Fix mechanical and electrical issues in Japanese vehicles.
- Replace worn or damaged parts with original or OEM Japanese parts.
Specialized Systems Knowledge:
- Familiarity with hybrid systems (e.g., Toyota Prius) and CVT transmissions common in Japanese cars.
- Knowledge of JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) models and their differences from international versions.
Customer Interaction:
- Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to clients.
- Provide estimates and timelines for repairs or servicing.
Record Keeping:
Maintain logs of repairs, parts used, and diagnostic results.Requirements:
- Technical training in auto mechanics (certification or diploma).
- Experience working specifically with Japanese vehicles.
- Ability to read service manuals (often with Japanese terminology).
- Knowledge of Japanese vehicle electronics and software tools (e.g., Techstream for Toyota, Consult for Nissan).
